21 Matte Lipstick Shades You Didn’t Know You Already Owned

FullSizeRenderThere are 3 beauty trends that I will forever be thankful for. One, the “artfully undone” hair trend- because I have 500 makeup brushes but can never seem to find a hair brush. Two, the “dewy skin” trend- because I am super oily and being “dewy” is a lifestyle, not a choice. And three, the “matte lip” trend- because matte lips are generally long-lasting and I can drink my 5 plus cups of coffee a day and a happy hour cocktail only needing to reapplying my lip once. Who has time to worry about their lipstick?

Enduring Lip Colors have become a product I learned I cannot live without. I have tried almost every brand out there, just to see, and I always come running home to Enduring Lip Colors. They do not dry out my lips, have a delicious dessert-y scent, and last surprisingly long. The way in which I judge whether or not I like a lip product is through a series of tests, and Enduring Lip Colors never seem to fail. They passed my sandwich test (in which I eat a sandwich while wearing it), my cocktail test (in which I drink multiple cocktails while wearing it), and the Kiss test (in which I listen to an entire Kiss album while wearing it…wink, wink.) They passed all three tests and more importantly, are cruelty-free, so I give them an A+!

While I would love to create every shade of Enduring Lip Color in the world (and my goal is to achieve that one day,) it is not entirely necessary. Actually, if you own all 7 shades of Enduring Lip Color, you already have more options than you think. By mixing two Enduring Lip Colors you can create your own long-lasting liquid lipstick to match your skin tone and personality.

Here is what you will need to create your new fave shade:

Creme Brulée

Macaroon

Cupcake

Salted Caramel

Cherry Pie

Sugarplum

Wedding Cake

While these shades are amazing on their own, when mixed they can create over 21 different shades! Each shade swatched is equal parts of the two shades, but with different ratios you can create an infinite variety. I am surprised by some of the results and even more surprised by some of the shades I fell in love with.
